Hi there, and welcome to Cornell Mock Trial!

If you’ve found your way to this page, chances are you’re interested in mock trial. So are we. The Mock Trial Association at Cornell University (MTACU) is a student-led team that competes in the American Mock Trial Association’s collegiate circuit. Over the years, we’ve had first-place finishes at invitational tournaments across the U.S., standout performances at Regionals, ORCS, and Nationals, and multiple appearances at the National Championship Tournament.

When you join MTACU, you join a tight-knit, passionate group of students who push each other to grow — not just as advocates, but as teammates, thinkers, and leaders. Whether or not you plan to go to law school, this team will challenge you, support you, and help you develop skills that will last far beyond college.

Joining MTACU was one of the most rewarding decisions we’ve made at Cornell — and we’d love for you to be part of it too. We can’t wait to meet you at our Fall 2025 Tryouts.
